ABOUT US

In 200l Beth Westbrook traded in her typewriter for a shovel, and along with her husband Bobby planted their first seedling trees on Fall Branch Christmas Tree Farm.  Having given up his previous Christmas tree farm in Alabama, Bobby was happy to get back to the trees.  Dividing his time between being a school counselor at Eastern Tennessee State University (ETSU) and working as a tree farmer has presented some problems, but with the help of Beth and the children, their dreams have come true.

IS IT OKAY TO CUT A REAL TREE?  Bobby and Beth Westbrook remember Christmases of their past, when a real tree was a happy part of their family Christmas Celebration.  It is that family memory that they would like to provide for your family.  And don’t worry, for every tree that is cut, one or more is planted!

The Westbrooks, parents of three, and grandparents of six, planted their first seedling trees in anticipation of supplying “Tennessee Grown, Farm Fresh” trees, wreaths, and family fun to the public.  Choose and cut your own tree and transport it back on the sleds provided, just as your ancestors did; or take a hayride to the fields to search for that “perfect tree”.   Enjoy the scenery, breath deeply the abundant fresh air and aroma of real trees.  Sample the free hot chocolate and hot cider, bring your picnic lunch and take advantage of the tables provided.  And don’t forget the marshmallow roasts on weekends!  Feel free to bring your dog, as we all know the dog is an important part of the family.  They do, however, request that all dogs be leashed.  The farm also provides warm, dry restrooms for your comfort.  As another service to you, you may return your tree to the farm after Christmas to prevent adding to your local landfill.

Bobby and Beth are members of the National Christmas Tree Assn., the Tennessee Christmas Tree Assn., the Tennessee Agritourism Assn., and several other state associations.  They attend field days, workshops and conferences and use the information learned at these events to improve their farm, to assure that you and your family will have the best quality trees, and a safe and memorable visit.

Beth creates a wide variety of wreaths right there on the farm.  Choose from Fraser fir, white pine, and mixed greens in the traditional round or other various holiday shapes such as crosses, snowflakes, etc.  They also feature grave blankets, baskets, roping, swags, and table centerpieces.  These items make great gifts as well.  For special orders of custom greenery, please call ahead.  Gift certificates are also available, and can be used for anything on the farm.

A special note from Bobby & Beth Westbrook:

“Please come and join us at the farm. Our main goal is for you and your family to have FUN!"

"And don’t forget the camera, to preserve these valuable memories!”

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
